Happiness Layout
Hi Perfect Paint Fans!!!!
I am beyond thrilled to share with you
a layout I created of my grandson.
Now a boy layout is a bit of a stretch for me
as there are no flowers and such
so I decided to let the textures tell the story.
I used Perfect Paints ~ Polishing Plaster ~ Apricot Lily
through TCW ~ Specimen stencil and applied
it randomly on the cardstock.
I lathered the Polishing Plaster on a bit thick
as I was using texture to tell my boy story!
LOVE THE LOOK!
I went to my chipboard stash and pulled out
a few that I thought would go well with my layout.
I began with CE ~ Love Knot Panel.
I painted on a layer of
Perfect Paints ~ Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint ~ Espresso.
When dry, I dabbed on a bit of
Perfect Paints ~ Polishing Plaster ~ Dried Cranberries.
I love the contrast of the shimmery paint
and the TEXTURE!
One of the aspects I LOVE about
is how smoothly it brushes onto a surface
but on the other hand due to the “medium body” of the paint
you can also create a texture.
I applied a rather thick layer of
Perfect Paints ~ Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint ~ Moss Green
to my CE ~ Flourish 15 and
with a sponge I dabbed the paint.
When dry I sanded off bits of the
Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint then applied
a bit of Archival Ink ~ Potting Soil over top.
Lastly, I painted my CE ~ Bird
with Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint ~ Shadow.
JUST PERFECT!
I hope you have enjoyed my “BOY” page
and ALL THE TEXTURE!
