A Wonderful Life Accordion Folio with Perfect Paints!
Hi friends! Michelle with another fun, quick winter project! This time, we're tackling that pile of tiny holiday treasures you know you have tucked away. Whether it's a collection of tiny ornaments or precious holiday photos, this project is perfect for giving them a special home. Get ready for a quick and satisfying craft!
I started out with a Tim Holtz Accordion Folio, which makes the perfect foundation for this project.
I applied some Perfect Paints "Shimmering Sage" Polishing Plaster with a palette knife over a TCW stencil to create the first layer and give some texture.
Once I removed the stencil and allowed the plaster to dry to the touch I added a generous layer of Marble Plaster Stucco to the bottom of the card.
While the plaster was still wet I sprinkled two different kinds of glitter and shook off the excess. I was pleased with the snowy effect if gave.
I then added a door frame die cut from 49 & Company as my focal point image. To add to the snowy feeling, I added some Clear X-small Glass Bead Gel to the top of the door frame.
For a little extra shine I rubbed on some "Beehive" Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint.
I finished the snowy look with some extra glitter on top of the wet Clear X-small Glass Bead Gel then added the last of the die cuts.
Lastly, I couldn't forget about the inside of this little cutie! I covered the pockets with coordinating papers and tucked coordinating die cuts in to each of the little accordion pockets. Now it's ready to till with all my holiday memories!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you were inspired to make something beautiful!
~Michelle
