Altered Key Holder using Perfect Paints
Hello Craft Friends,
Today we are going to create an altered art. In the world of crafting, there's a special joy in giving new life to old, forgotten objects. Today I’m sharing my creative journey to transform an old key holder into a mixed media piece bursting with the warm and inviting colors of fall. I achieved this transformation with the help of Perfect Paints' exquisite acrylic mediums.
My first step was to add texture that would bring the piece to life. Perfect Paints' Polishing Plaster was the perfect choice. It allowed me to create intricate, tactile patterns on the surface, adding depth and interest.
To capture the essence of autumn, I turned to Perfect Paints' acrylic mediums. Frosted Rose, Ballet Slipper, Afterglow, and Coral became my palette of choice. These hues, ranging from the softest blush to the richest coral, blended seamlessly to evoke the changing leaves and cozy evenings of fall.
The process was as delightful as the outcome. Layer by layer, I applied the acrylic mediums, letting each color tell its own story. The frosted finish of "Frosted Rose" added a delicate shimmer, while "Afterglow" brought the warmth of a harvest sunset. "Coral" and "Ballet Slipper" played their parts in creating a captivating symphony of colors.
It now adorns my wall, a reminder that beauty can be found in the most unexpected places. You can also check out the step by step tutorial on Perfect Paints YT channel below.
