Capturing Memories with Perfect Paints
Just a few weeks ago we whisked our granddaughter away to Universal Studios for her birthday. It was an amazing time by all. She was so excited to have the opportunity to meet several Sponge Bob characters. I couldn't wait to get home and make a scrapbook page for her to capture this memory. This page is full of awesome textures.

Supplies:
49 & Market Serenity Tranquil patterned paper
Misc 6x6 pink, white and yellow patterned paper
Main Street Wall Peel & Stick Tile
49 & Market Vintage Artistry Serenity Laser Cut Elements
49 & Market Tranquility Laser Cut Wildflowers
Tim Holtz Ideaology Theories Quote Chips
Zots
ZapDots Helmar
Perfect Paints White Stucco
Perfect Paints Clear X Small Glass Bead Gel
Perfect Paints Shimmering Acrylics in Ballet Slipper and Bright Gold
Instructions:
Trim the Serenity Tranquil paper to desired size. I trimmed mine to 8x10 so that I can eventually add it to a shadowbox.
I then took the Peel and Stick Tile and added the Perfect Paints White Stucco and Glass beads all over with a pallet knife. The tile already has a raised texture so the added stucco and glass beads really accent this tile.

Once this had dried then I used the Perfect Paints Shimmering Acrylic in Ballet Slipper and Bright gold with a paint brush. Gently applying it in random places on your background. Since the tile is a peel and stick I just added it to the trimmed cardstock.

Trim your picture and frame in coordinating paper colors. I used pink, then white to frame my photos finishing with yellow.
Adhere the picture and then begin layering the journaling block from the 49 & Market Laser Cut Elements pack and the flowers from the Laser Cut Wildflowers pack. I used ZapDots to raise the flowers for added dimension.

Add some journaling and finishing touches with the Tim Holtz Quote chips. I will eventually add this to a shadowbox for her so that it can be hung on the wall. I simply love how the White Stucco and X-Small Glass Beads gives off a water/ocean feel to the page!

Until next time.....happy crafting :)
