Crafting a Festive Vintage Christmas Cone: Day 12 of our 12 Days of Christmas with Perfect Paints!
Hello friends, Cheryl here! Can you believe we’ve reached Day 12 of the 12 Days of Christmas? The holiday spirit is in full swing, and with less than two weeks until Christmas, the anticipation is truly palpable! This magical season brings joy, warmth, and creativity, and I am thrilled to share my latest project with you—a charming vintage Christmas cone. This delightful craft is not only a quick and easy endeavor but also makes for a beautiful gift or a unique ornament to adorn your tree. Join me as we dive into this festive project with some of my favorite Perfect Paints that will bring this project to life. Let’s embrace the holiday cheer together and create something truly memorable!
Supplies:
Paper mache Cone
Assorted Christmas greens
Vintage ribbons
Christmas Ephemera
Instructions:
Using a palette knife [or your hands, yep i use my hands lol] add White stucco to the paper mache. Don't worry about it being perfect you want it to be uneven. Let dry completely.
When the White Stucco is dry, paint entire surface with Vintage Patina. It may take a couple of coats to achieve a deeper tone. Let dry
Once dry, "Dry Brush" on some highlights of Bright Gold. Let dry
Decorate the top using vintage ribbons adding glue around the rim. Add some Christmas Ephemera as shown.
Add greenery in the cone.
