Crafting a Magical Background with Perfect Paints
Hey there, crafty friends!
Today, I’m sharing a fun and super simple way to create your own shimmering background using Perfect Paints acrylics. Because let’s be honest, plain card bases are boring, and we’re here to fix that!
So, I grabbed an empty card base that was practically begging for some color. The plan? Five colors, five stencils, and lots of texture! Let’s dive in:
First up, I took a wavy sea-like stencil and laid down a base with Bohemian Blue Shimmering Acrylics. Instant ocean vibes!
Then, I grabbed a seamless design stencil and added True Blue Shimmering Acrylics—because two blues are better than one, right? These blended together beautifully.
Time for some dotty magic! I picked up Mermaid Tail Shimmering Acrylics and added playful dot highlights.
Next, I reached for a geometric stencil and brought in some depth with Peacock Blue Shimmering Acrylics—because who doesn’t love layers?
And finally, to break up all that blue, I added Bright Gold Shimmering Matte Acrylics for some bold highlights. Contrast is key!
Once my background was shimmering and looking fancy, I popped on some coordinating florals, and voilà—a beautifully layered card made from scratch! Who needs patterned paper when you can create your own with these stunning acrylics?
