Hey guys! Michelle here sharing a fun easy technique to stretch your supplies and give your work a different look. Personally watercolor is one of my favorite mediums so anytime I can get that dreamy watery look I go for it. Since the Perfect Paints Shimmering Matte Acrylics are so highly pigmented they are perfect for this technique and all the little shimmery bits just float around so beautifully!

To get started I just took a very wet brush and wet my precut watercolor paper very well, paying special attention to the shape of the water spot I was making.

Next I just dropped a few dots of the Bohemian Blue Shimmering Matte Acrylic paint and let it spread, giving it a push and adding water with my brush here and there as needed. It will pool up in spots and you may need to tilt the paper around a bit till it dries. You can also speed it up with a heat gun, paying careful attention to how it will move around as you dry.

After all was dry I brushed on some Perfect Clear Texture Gel to give it a good seal and adds atacky finish in order to stick on some mesh and gold leaf. When dry, it will be clear with a slight gloss without being tacky!

I then finished it off with a vintage photo and some great die cuts.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you were inspired to make something beautiful today!
