Mixing Perfect Paint products
Hi all! Can you believe it is February already?? As always time just flies by.
Today I wanted to share with you a fun project using 90% Perfect Paint products and how you can mix them together. So grab some Shimmering Paints, White Stucco and Polishing Plaster and let's get to crafting!
Supplies:
Small Shadow box frame
Tim Holtz Quote Chips Theories
Perfect Paints Stucco white
Perfect Paints Shimmering Acrylic in Bright Gold, Halo and Aged Copper
Perfect Paints Glaze Medium
Instructions:
Mix together Perfect Paints White Stucco with Perfect Paints Shimmering Acrylic in Aged Copper. I love the shimmering texture.
Using a palette knife you will just begin spreading the stucco all over the backing of the shadow box. Make sure to leave edges and extra thickness in areas. Set aside and let this dry.
Once this has dried then take the Perfect Paints Polishing Plaster in Organic Sugar and begin adding the textured heart as well as adding some along the edges. Set aside and let this dry really good.
Now that everything is dry we are going to take some Perfect Paints Shimmering Acrylic in Bright Gold and mix it with some Perfect Glaze Medium. Now that it is mixed really well you will take a paint brush and just lightly start adding it to the backing focusing on getting all the high areas. Then use a touch of the Perfect Paints Shimmering acrylic in Halo for a touch of highlights.
Add a chipboard quote from the Tim Holtz Quote Chip Theories pack and then put the backing back on the shadow box. You have now completed a simple little project!
