Never Waste Perfect Paints!
Hello Perfect Paint Fans!! Lynne Forsythe here and I wanted to share with you a little play time I had with a couple of my gel plates.
If you watched my previous video, Delicious Studio Fodder and Perfect Paints, you know that I used printed papers that I had found in my studio to create flowers for a heart shaped wreath. The papers had been transformed using a gel plate and Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint. So I thought it would be fun to pull out my gel plates and show you a bit of my mono printing play time.
Oh the FUN I had!! I used a bunch of locally sourced vintage papers and textiles that I've picked up along the way. I must say, I think I have a problem, when it come to collecting old books, dictionaries, sheet music, etc. because I OWN A LOT of PAPER.
One of the aspect I LOVE about Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paints is that it is translucent or semitransparent. You can faintly see the papers you are using through the paint, along with other paint colors.
