Shabby and glamy flowers with Shimmering Matte Acrylics!
Hello everyone! Myry here again with a little experiment for you with Shimmering Matte Acrylics! If you're like me, who loves handmade flowers, but either you're too lazy to make them or you just don't have the talent for it, this post may be what you need to satisfy your floral cravings. Because I always have few flowers (ignore my shelves with all these glass bottles full of flowers, ignore them!)
Now, if you want to make them yourself, I recommend two types of paper: mulberry paper (exquisite to the touch, soft and fine, very delicate) and watercolor paper 300gr (perfect for wrinkled effects). I hate foam with all my soul, but it's also a respectable option.
But for this experiment I used the flowers "Rustic Bouquet - White Heron" 49 and Market. Actually, I recommend buy good quality flowers but mostly white so that you can give them the color you need.
If you take a look at the range of colours of the Shimmering Matte Acrylics you'll see many colours for any style. Take a look at the Halo and Ballet Slipper tones, perfects for Shabby chic style!
And as a complement the impressive Sangria tone. A bold color that I have fallen in love with!
It's as simple as painting the white flower in the shade of your choice. And if you want, add a bit of clear glitter or a neutral shade before the paint dries.
Easy peasy! And very glammy indeed!!
And in this simple way you can have flowers in beautiful colors thanks to the range of acrylic colors from Perfect Paints!
Thanks so much for take a look.
Have a good week!
Myry
