Shimmering Dimensional Embellishments with Perfect Paints
Hello fellow creatives! Becky Conley here, excited to share a simple yet sophisticated way to elevate your home decor. Driven by a desire to d maximize resources, I've transformed leftover paint pouring minitures into stunning 6" x 6" abstract canvases. Today, we'll be focusing on adding Shimmering floral centerpiece using Perfect Paints Polishing Plaster! Let's get started!

These 6' x 6" abstract canvases were made to use up left over paints mixed for paint pouring that were beginning to clutter my worktable. I selected one for this Shimmering Flower Project.

SUPPLIES:
Polishing Plaster #1060 Dove's Wing
Other Supplies: 6" x 6" canvas, decorative button, copper tape 3/4", 3" circle pattern, non-stick sheet/mat, strong adhesive (E-6000), artist palette knife, paint brush, wire cutters, repurposed 14" x 14" art with frame.
Flower Instructions:
Print a 3" circle pattern on standard white computer paper and place it underneath a non-stick surface.
Stir the #1060 Dove's Wing Polishing Plaster with the palette knife. Scoop a small amount onto the knife and wipe it onto the non-stick surface, following the circle pattern to create flower petals all the way around.

Repeat to create an inner circle of petals.
White the paste is still wet, cut the back off a decorative button and place in the center of the flower.
Let dry complete for multiple days. Remove carefully from the non-stick mat. Touch up any thin spots or holes that may have occurred by applying the #1060 Dove's Wing Polishing Plaster with a paint brush.
Glue the flower to the center of the abstract painted canvas.

I repurposed a framed/matted sentiment which needed a little more coverage, so I made a frame of copper tape behind the mat. The corners are mitered.
adjusting the frame Finish the framing, without glass.
Thanks for stopping by the blog! I hope you create something wonderful today.
My best,
Becky
