Start by cutting your heavy chipboard in an oval shape to the desired size. Next, cut decorative paper for background to fit and adhere it to the chipboard.
Add clear gesso to the surface using a brush, sponge, or spreader tool.
Once Gesso is completely dry, mix a bit of Honey Gold Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint into a small amount of Gilded Azure Polishing Plaster, about 2 parts Polishing Plaster to 1 part paint. Mix lightly to create a marbled effect and apply through a decorative stencil using a palette knife.
Dry cautiously with a heat tool.
Use Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint in Bright Gold and Honey Gold on gears.
Next, add all of your elements such as florals, fussy cuts, metals, and chipboard pieces.
A dry brushing of Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint in Barely there and white Gesso were brushed on flowers and key element. Honey Gold was splattered around focal. The edges of the oval were inked using Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. The molded wing was painted in Barely There Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint.
